      help with connecting 2 routers

Hi, I'm currently using a sagem router (supplied by sky) which gives a good wireless range in my house but not in the new extension.

I have 3 ports in use, one is plugged into the pc located next to the router on the ground floor, the other two are for extending the wired connections for use in the upstairs kids bedrooms for xboxes.

I have also got a new D-Link DSL-2640S router that I would like to position upstairs in the new extension using the spare port to obtain a greater wireless range.

Is this possible with these routers? if so how do I access settings on the new router.
I'm kind of a novice when it comes to wan/lan/dhcp/ssid jargon. so please be patient with me

The D-Link DSL-2640S is a Sky router, have you tried plugging it into your line? At the moment nothing much can be done with these routers other than using them on a Sky connection.

If it works on your internet connection, you could flash the Sagem and use it to extend your network.
