      Sagem F@st 2405 VPN

      Hi,

I am trying to open TCP port 50 & UDP Port 500 so that I can log on to my work's VPN.

I have creatred to services (1 for TCP with start port 50 end port 50, 1 for UDP with start port 500 end port 500).

I then created two entries on the firewall inbound which use the 2 services.

This does not appear to have worked. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful

      Re: Sagem F@st 2405 VPN

VPN is usually on port 1723. Aside from that, if your still having trouble then just ensure you have windows firewall or another good vpn compatible firewall enabled and set up the routers DMZ to point to your PC. This will effectively unblock all the ports to your PC and leave the blocking only at the PC's firewall.

      Re: Sagem F@st 2405 VPN

There is special firmware available for those who want to use VPN with the Sagem. Just call Sky and tell them you would like the firmware to allow VPN, it usually takes 2-3 days to come down. If Tier 1 don't understand, insist on being passed to the CST.
