    IP Reservation issue

      IP Reservation issue

      I am trying to add fixed IP's within the range and i kee getting the following error message:

      Reserve IP address out of range!


      The addresses end within the designated DHCP range.

      Please help

      Do you actually have a DG834GT? I suspect you have a Sagem. These have recently received a firmware update which is causing this problem. Phone Sky and report it to them, they will probably recommend you return the router to its previous firmware, but as they have caused the problem they should send you another router... Not everyone knows how to flash a router.

      It is a SAGEM yes but i dont know the model number. the Firmware version is at 2.6sky

      I've spoken to sky who in turn told me to look on here as they dont know what the issue is!! Great eh!

      I am not sure what good returning the firmware to the original would do.(as recommended to Dazeon) If the update is still on the server it is going to be upgraded again as soon as you go on line. Inform Sky in writing, either by email or KANA form, the more that complain the sooner it will be fixed.

      If you initially reserve an IP address above 200 and then go back and edit it, you can then change it back to what ever IP address you want.
