      Use homeplugs and get one with a wireless extender built in, that should sort out any wireless blackspots and give you the option of a hardwired connection also.

      yeah..same wireless channel, same security etc..it actually occured to me today that as i wasnt actually turning off the sky router..and somply turning on the Draytek (after configuring them to the same channel) im gonna be suffering from some interference from myself...

      will do some 'propper' like for like testing and report back

      I don't know if it is relevant but this is a 108mbps router and like others of its ilk will only work properly at that speed with compatible adapters. Unless you have a 108mbps Draytek adapter, set the mode to 54g only.
