      Possibly DLM?

I'm on Sky's Max package and run a gaming server from home (spare PC on 24/7).

For the last year I've been sync'd solidly at 12 meg down and 768 up more recently 850ish up with the new speed changes.

I run an 834GT with the DG Team firmware and have done for a few years.

I have the router SNR set at 130% (around 9db) to help keep my line stable due to the server.

Even with the SNR slightly higher than normal and the server pinching bandwidth I have still maintained a nice speed on my everyday PC and can play games etc with no LAG.

This last week I have been having problems with not only LAG in games and voice apps but slow browsing too.

I've a feeling SKY have their DLM running on my line and my concern is because I have the custom SNR it might interfere with SKY's testing and result in a slower syn'c rate for me.

I know I should leave the DLM to do it's business and interfere as little as possible but should I set the SNR back to standard or should I leave as is?

Anything else people think I should do is appreciated I just don't want to lose the setup and speed I had and then have to argue with T1 who will have me clearing my browser cache and asking how many lights are on my router.

I've included my present stats below....

      Re: Possibly DLM?

I would set it back to default(6.9) to remove any possibility of problems. You may find DLM will stabilize your line and make your settings unnecessary.

Incidentally, I may be wrong, but I did think it was against the T&Cs to host a website as you are doing, If it comes to the attention of Sky, you may be liable to be cut off.

      (h) To protect our network and maintain quality of service for all our users we can temporarily or permanently control or restrict your online activities via Sky Broadband where such activities may have a detrimental effect on other customers’ quality of service and it is reasonable for us to do so (e.g. sending "spam" Messages or hosting a website).

Thanks for the reply's so far.
I'm not running a website from my home only a spare PC running a game that people can connect too.
I'm also not a big gamer even tho i run the server, I just didn't want to loose what i had and found it fraustrating trying to talk to my brother down south over ventrillo.
