      NOP!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhh

entered the WEP key like you said.

Just checked in 'wireless settings' if its on WEP and it is.

I right click the little computers on the bottom right, press 'connect to network' right click the one i want to have. Press 'connect' it scans it and says it cant connect WHY!!!!!!???

so bloody annoying. i hate myself lol

      Hmmm

Under "Security type" try "Shared" instead of "No authentication (Open)"

Try the suggestion I added, if it doesn't work. Then revert back to WPA-PSK.

Re: URGENT HELP - Wireless Router Problem

You could always turn off the security in the router and just do MAC filtering on it. That way only allowed MAC addresses would be able to log in.

Re: URGENT HELP - Wireless Router Problem

First, log into the router and turn off the wireless security, then check that everything that needs to connect can.

Once you have done that, log into the router and go to the wireless settings, click on :- "setup access list". You should see a list of everything that is currently connected to the router.

Turn access control on and add the needed equipment to your list. That should do it.

      Remember to apply
