      Help setting up on router...

I have the sky sagem router configured and working at present, however I have been trying to get Wake on Lan working over the internet but the sagem router doesn't allow you to port forward to a broadcast address - see this thread I started:-

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/techn...tml#post234705

I have another router Netgear DG834GT. This is NOT a sky one, its a standard Netgear. I have however installed DGTeam's custom firmware as this allows Wake on Lan to be configured.

The problem I have now is getting the DG834GT configured with my sky adsl account etc..

I have read that you have to install new firmware on the Sagem to get the user name and password. Is this the case or are there any other ways?

I don't really want to have to alter my existing sky router as I would like the option to go back to this.

I appologise if this has alll been asked before, however even after reading I am a bit confused.

      Help appreciated.

      Thanks

Ok, managed to work out how to setup by netgear, but this still didn't offer the WoL over the internet that I was hoping. It only supports it when you remotely connect to the Router and select Wake on Lan and enter the mac address of the PC. More like wake on lan (not over the internet)...
