      Wireless suddenly stopped working..

I have the netgear 834gt router with sky max.Wireless has allways worked great to my ipod touch and laptop suddenly it has stopped with no apparent reason.I can see the router ssid but the signal is very very weak but it will not connect at all. There seems to be no reason for this as i have changed absolutley nothing, could it be that the router has developed a fault in the wireless side of things

      Thanks

Although you have changed nothing, possibly a near neighbour has. Go into the wireless setting of the router and change the Channel. You may have to try several before you find a suitable one.
You could also download Netstumbler from the link below and this will tell you how many networks are in your area and their channel numbers. Choose a Channel as far from those in use as possible.

Definately give netstumbler a run to check what is around you, as Isitme says just because you have not done anything different it doesn't mean that someone nearby hasn't bumped onto the same channel as you.

Even though netstumbler cannot find anynetworks around even though i have a choice of 3 to connect to on my laptop,i changed from channel 6 Auto 108 to channel 13 b&g and it seems a stronger signal now.

      "No wireless adapter found"
This could mean that your wireless adapter is not supported, a large number are but some are not. The ' Atheros L1 Gigabit T-Controller Unknown Device (Unsupported)' it does find is your ethernet adapter. See here for further information - stumbler dot net Channel 13 is often a good bet as many do not know it is available.
