      Kicking someone off router or blocking

      Im trying to limit access or better kick off a user on my router..ive had a look on the security settings etc but i dont know what to do..can someone help me please

      Wireless settings, access list, click checkbox for turn access control on, then add the ones you want to allow, apply and roberts your fathers brother
      Or even better if you dont use it then turn off wireless altogether.

      Better still change the WPA pass key and don't tell them what it is. You do have security enabled in the router? There is a lot of talk about WPA being cracked, but it is not as easy as some make out.

      i often have to restrict my daughter from wireless access on her laptop(form of grounding)
      i change the wpa password which she doesnt know
      to then allow her for home work etc i change it back to the password set on her laptop login details it takes 2 minutes each time
