      Routers as a bridge

      Hi love the forums!!

Got a problem... I have a pc in another room and want to use one of my routers as a wireless bridge i think using WDS.
I have sky dg934 router on my line and a 2nd sky dg934 that i have put the netgear 834 V3 firmware on. I also have a dg834g V2 which has DGTeam firmware on.

Was hoping to plug 834 v2 into my sky router and use that for wifi and then the old sky router, now 834 as the bridge connected to a pc.

But looks like the v2 has a different chipset and doesnt support WDS.

Is the only way to change the firmware on my current sky router??

Wouldnt be a problem if sky firmware supported WDS!!!!!!!!

From what I've read in other posts no, there is no way.

Buy a couple of homeplugs with the option of one being a wireless access point.
