      Hi

Yes it opens fine in word but it doesnt bring up the PPPOA username and Password.

its the config back up you save from the router before you do an update

have you already flashed the router? if so, you'll have to flash it back to Sky FW first...

Its not in the config file saved by the standard sky firmware. Use mognuts utility instead

      Re: Router Died Question

To be honest it broke thanks to the girlfriend deciding to pour water over it i will re-phrase that X-Girlfriend.

so i hadnt flashed the router to update it etc

dryed it out with hairdryer before i turned it back on but didnt work

Am using my neighbours wireless with his permission obviously at the moment

So what i have is a back up Config and thats it was wondering if theres a way of getting the username and pasword from that conf but i dont think there is to be honest.

The Router has to be alive to run Mognuts yes?

I think the router has to be live to run cfg to get the pppoa?

cheers for the quick response time much quicker than Sky Helpline but mind u that wouldnt be difficult.

      Re: Router Died Question

yeah if the router is dead and you've not got them only way is to get it replaced by Sky - and you should get a V2 router...
