      upgrading firmware problem.

Hi everyone I have had my sky router now for 5 months and have had no problems with it until now, the connection keeps turning itself on and off so i thought upgrading the firmware would help, i already know that it is difficult to upgrade because sky made there own version of firmware. So i tried the recovery utility to upgrade it but half way through the process when it shows you a device list an there are no devices in my list, please if its no problem could someone please help, thnx.

      Re: upgrading firmware problem.

if its worked for 5 months then have you tried to sort everything out wiring wise before jumping the gun assuming its the router? on the whole its fine, for some people they flash it and it works - others flash it and i gets worse!!!

i think trying to read the rest of the forum first and getting to understand the issues a line may have is ur best bet
