Just my twopence worth but didnt the T&C mention something about Sky internet for personal use only? As such i can't possible see any reason why anyone can say "i can't do without my connection", or are we becoming a nation of saddo's who sit about all day?
Sure, the internet can be interesting and full of knowledge and i can e-mail my work buddies with humorous jokes and mpegs etc, but to go as far as to say "i rely" on the internet and couldn't live without it?

You have the internet ergo you have a phone line, so if the internet "goes down" you still have a means of contact to 'the big wide scary outside world ! *just my opinion don't shoot me for it*

Users armed with a little knowledge are dangerous things!
Step away from the keyboard slowly............your right to use the internet has been revoked!
      You have a 'PEBKAC' problem

Below are the sats from my router, mean nothing to me whatsoever.

My router is currently plugged into the master socket, I have also removed the faceplate (thus removing internal wiring to extensions) and plugged directly into the line side but no change in the downstream speed.

      Anysuggestions appreciated

      Cheers

You do have some errors on the line, if you were plugged into the test socket for the whole of that 10 hour period then it looks like you have a problem with your line.
