      Problem getting user name etc

      I am having problems using Mognuts Utility. I keep getting 'access denied wrong user name and or password' when I try to extract this information. I want to try using my old ADSL modem as I am having serious speed issues. From initial speeds of 5050 kbps in February when I joined to now an almost daily gradual decrease to 520 kbps.

      Possibly you have changed the default password to the router's user interface.

      Log in via Internet Explorer (192.168.0.1 in the address bar) using your existing password and reset it to the default -- which is sky.

      It is still the default admin and sky

      Are you a Windows user? If so, you could try this: http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/techn...matically.html to extract the info. (And if it doesn't work, it'll give you a good idea of why not in the log.)

      Many thanks it worked perfectly. I can now try another modem to see if my dramatic speed drop is down to the Netgear modem.
