I am following the instructions in the relevant post. I am at the point where I have to select a network adapter.

I don't know which one, I have tried all the ones in the list and I get an error message that says "no bin or img file found" there is then no devices in the device list.

      Please can you help me??!?!

      Thanks,

      Kate

      Further to my email......

My ultimate goal is to use the Sky netgear router with a different ISP.

If I didn't make it clear, I am the stage where I have opened the upgradewizard.exe and it asks me to select a network adapter......

Surely all you do is goto to the routers admin page http://192.168.0.1 then click "Router Upgrade" on the left.
You then get a screen called Firmware Upgrade, click browse to find the image file you downloaded from the netgear site.
Wait a while and the router should have the new firmware.

Do all of this whilst connected via ethernet cable rather than wifi.

      I have worked it out!

I hadn't saved the .img file in the same folder as the other stuff!!

      Thanks for everyone's help.
