How to get your Router Stats - V2

This tutorial will guide you through the steps in connecting to the routers page and checking the routers status!

Firstly the URL Address for the config page is http://192.168.0.1

When you first connect to the config page it will ask for a username and password!

• The Default Username for the Sky router is : admin
• The Default Password for the Sky router is : sky

This takes you a screen like this

Now you are on the router status page. At the bottom and you will see a button "show statistics"

to get the router stats click on Show Statistics and then copy and paste them in here.

The following can be found under the following sections!

Setup

• Wireless Settings - Configure the SSID, WEP / PSK Key!
• Change to g & b / g only
• Enable Wireless Access Point

• Logs - Logs of any Packets being transferred through the router, or Logs of the connection to the Config Page!
• Block Sites - You can set your router to default block any sites by using the sites IP/URL Address
• Firewall Rules - Here you can forward any ports! Outbound & Inbound
• Services - Here you can create a new Port Profile for an App you may use, VOiP etc etc
• Schedule - Set when your router will allow connection etc etc

• Attached Devices - Shows you what devices are connected to the router, Wired or Wireless and if set Their Computer Name!
• Backup Settings - You can save the current router profile useful if have configured several port-forward rules!
• Set Password - You can change the routers password here! (The password used to access the page) (For WIRELESS Key see Wireless Settings)
• Diagnostics - Ping an IP, Look up a DNS or Reboot the Router!
• Router Upgrade - Upgrade the firmware of your router, Using an Update or the Saved .cfg file from the Backup Settings Page.

• WAN Setup - Using this page, you can set up several parameters related the the WAN connection.
• Dynamic DNS - Useful if you use your router to host a WebServer and use a Dynamic DNS Service!
• LAN IP Setup - Change the IP Address for your Local Area Network, Useful if you you have a Conflicting IP Issue if you connect to other devices.
• Remote Management - Using the Remote Management menu, you can allow a user on the Internet to configure, upgrade and check the status of your Router, Use this to check the status of the router from another computer not connected to the router!
• UPnP - Here you can enable UPnP - Universal Plug&Play helps devices, such as Internet appliances and computers, access the network and connect to other devices as needed. UPnP devices can automatically discover the services from other registered UPnP devices on the network.
