I have Sky Connect package and my speed is throttled down from 6MB to 0.88MB in the evenings. This throttling down makes Sky Connect unusable. AVOID!!!

£17 p/m for 0.88MB...you do the maths :(

Slow speed on Connect-slower than the BT I left at Xmas for Sky. Sky player breaks up as do all the online video viwing. It is frustratingly slow even offline.

Fed up moving to different ISP's so I'll stick with this even though mu d/l speeds range fro 0.1kib/s to 56kibs/s. Disgusted but they are all the same.

i have been thru 2 months of avoidance from tech support before i realised that they are deliberately throttling my speed from 5pm down to as low as 500 kbps......as an online games player this is useless for me and i feel i have been conned and missold the product

£17.99 a month? Great service at 6:00am on a Saturday morning, easily download at 6MB plus. Dont expect to use it at any other times though, peak times fluctuate between a mindblowing 0.22MB to the dizzy heights of 0.7MB. Great if you live in 1996. Truly cr*p.

Have to echo everyone's comments. COMPLETELY MISSOLD by Sky - have never received more than 0.8Mb and thats well outside peak time, and I live only 100 yds from the exchange in a brand new flat.

Complete con - don't even bother considering it.

I have to agree with most of the previous comments. During the day until about 16:00 it is fine but after that it is hopeless. Hardly much use even for browsing at times.

Just signed up for Sky Connect. Can barely connect, and when it does, it's at no more than 200kbs. Utter, utter, utter crap. Avoid like the plague. Am attempting to get hold of someone so I can get out of the contract as they're not providing any sort of service I expected.

I did not sign up for this but find myself on it. It is utter crap after 5pm. 6meg in the morning, les than 1 meg in the evening. I want out.

Oh dear, so this is what I'm in for. I was hoping the ten day tune up period would result in a decent speed.

.59mbps is what I'm getting in Canary Wharf. What the hell is going on with these companies. For gods sake it 2010 can't we have a decent bb speed in the middle of London.

Shameful, disgusting, sinister.

Completely agree with everyone I normally get 5 mbps in the day as soon as 5pm comes and bang 0.3mbps.
No iplayer no 360 online you can't even stream live radio without constant buffering I have contacted sky numerous times all they say is that BT control the line management on sky connect.
