0.310mb d/l 0.300 upload, uses an exchange 2km away the speed is awful, i was getting better speeds with my 512kb from ntl about 10 years or so ago. sky broadband isn't worth the money, i wouldn't renew my contract even if it was free.

I unfotunatly seem to be only one of an ever growing number of skys very unhappy coustermers as my estemated bb speed is 4.0 to 9.0 mbps where as its actualy 0.6 at best. An all the help fourms in the world aint going to change that!

Getting around 0.6mb/s download speed, sky claim i should get 4.6 mb in my area they seem to be lying or intentionally giving me lower speed im getting tired of this

Sky Broadband is awful!
They should rename it Sky BODGEBAND.
I'm getting under 0.5 Mbps, and the supposed average is 6Mbps, Sky is the worst for broadband!

sky broadband on sky talk 15.35mbps im happy started of on 8mbps at £17 per month then got letter from sky saying your getting unlimeted download 20 mbps speed for £7.50 a month verry happy

seems everyone is getting ripped off here im in the exact boat and just rang up sky again for the 6th time in a month and they said they would have to ring me back because they were having computer issues,, now how ironic is thats!sky is ****

Uswitch states my speed is 15 yet sky speed test is only 303 which is right and is this why I cant play online videos or any catch up tv

Just Checked again, peak times I'm getting 4.8Mb/s download with 755Kb/s upload, this is much better than I was getting with Plusnet - and cheaper - happy as Larry.

you think your speed is slow try mine from sky download is 0.19mb/s & upload is 0.20mb/s it is total rubbish would not recommend .

all other coments above sign in to sky have a look at my sky my account my broadband look at your service details and click on significantly lower i found this artical There are many factors that affect your Access Line Speed. If you have a line speed of 5.0Mbps or less, this is significantly below your estimate and you should contact us.

We will carry out our diagnostic and resolution processes to help improve your speed. Following our attempts to improve your speed, and after you have carried out our recommendations, if your Access Line Speed does not exceed this, you can leave your contract without penalty within three months of your service activating.

I've just tested my broadband unlimited and its slower than writing this text with one finger ...799k was the best of 3 results .. now I've just found out I'm not alone .. so I'm switching to someone else .. now if only my internet connection would let me look on line to find another provider .

Have been with Sky BB for about 4 months on LLU - sync speed 22802kbps, Speedtest.net giving 19.65Mbps down, 0.96MBps up. Previous BT broadband on same exchange was about 15% lower. Very reliable, consistent performance. Very happy!

I was promised unlimited broadband now they say your are heavy user so we have slowdown your speed in fact it virtule stand still
Sky entice customers by packages than they rob you by not delivering what you are charged for
this is 2012 my broadband was more faster in 2005 with another IP

I'm moving back to virgin as sky have let me down with these slow speeds. How can you watch the newer 720p 1080p youtube videos on such slow connections. At least with virgin you don't get these issues.

The speed of sky is (removed) I am on unlimited and only 1000 mtrs away from my exchange I an getting 5.79 meg. They said it was 24 meg when i first joined sky broadband ,now they say it's 14 meg what a con. They are liars.
I was getting better speeds 18 months ago.
