Sky Sports App For iPad Featuring f1™ ‘Race Control’ Companion Experience
The Sky Sports News App for iPad, has been updated and renamed Sky Sports for iPad. Sky Sports for iPad now includes an innovative Sky Sports F1™ companion app experience and is available in the App Store from today. Sky Sports for iPad ensures that fans can access the latest news and team updates while watching live sports at home and on the go.
Key features of the F1™ ‘Race Control’ companion experience, part of the Sky Sports for iPad app, include:
- An array of live streams from on-board cameras, pit lane camera as well as main race coverage that can be selected by the user to provide new perspectives on the action and creating a race experience like never before
- Live race data for the latest positions and lap timings
- A race scheduler for the full season
- A live highlights module with bespoke app editorial
- Twitter feed powered by Scribble Live technology with aggregated F1™ fan commentary
In addition to Sky Sports F1™ content, the Sky Sports app also provides the biggest sports stories of the day, together with information on the latest fixtures, results and standings across including cricket, rugby union and football.
Key features of the Sky Sports app include live streaming of Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 and 4, Sky Sports News and the new Sky Sports F1™ channel, homepages for football, rugby union, rugby league, cricket, golf, tennis, F1™ and boxing, as well as bespoke pages for every team in the Barclays Premier League, npower Championship, npower League One and Two, Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League and Home Nations .
The Sky Sports app also offers in-depth data coverage across sports and across teams, highlights and catch up coverage through video on demand, access to Sky Sports News Radio, and in-depth news coverage of all the big stories with articles, galleries, video and data.
