Question is somebody using my bandwidth?

i got sky bb on wednesday & all working well at the moment.

i followed the guide on here for setting up the wi-fi access on my router, access control is ON & WPA security setting. only my Wii is connected wireless - the PC is on ethernet cable.

when i check 'attached devices' on the router info, there is always a MAC address there that i don't know who/what it is?

      anything to worry about?

I named my pc 'fred' and there are 2 'fred' mac addresses suggesting one is wireless and the other is lan? If you unplus ethernet cable and refresh list the 2nd mac should not be there

Re: is somebody using my bandwidth?

The manual says: The Attached Devices menu contains a table of all IP devices that the router has discovered on the local network.

It doesn't just display the number of wireless connections, it's every connection. So, you're good.
