      How to get 108mbps

Has anyone been able to successfully get more than 54mbps out of the netgear router.

      I've a got a laptop which supports 802.11g,
but I can't seem to get anything faster than 54mbps.
Does it matter that the laptop does not use a netgear card?
Does setting the channel to a specific value help?

      Cheers

      Re: How to get 108mbps

To get connected at 108mb you need a super g card capable of that speed. It does not need to be netgear. The only thing that needs to be done on the router is change the 54mb to Auto 108 in the wireless settings
