I have a desktop PC etherneted up to my Sky Router.. I have my laptop on a wireless connection to my ethernet router.. All working fine..
I'm using Zonealarm firewall and I want to enable both machines to network onto each other so I can share files / music / data....
How do I go about doing this? Is there something I have to do to the router to allow both machines to talk to each other? If so what?
Thanks for your help.. SnapperJW

Re: Home Network
just run the network setup wizard on both PC's under Control Panel.
Make sure your firewall settings are set up to allow access to the IP range 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.xx
by default only the 'shared users' folder will be shared, but you can right mouse click any folder and click properties then the sharing tab to grant access.
