    wireless connection on router wont go green

      Angry wireless connection on router wont go green

      Hi peeps my first of many i have had so many problems with my internet connection disconnecting

      thats been solved now!

      But now my wireless connection light on the router wont light up which means the router is not giving out an wireless connection. I have rebooted router serverals times, turned it on the router settings page tried turning it off and on serveral times.

      tried serveral things i am a techies so tried all the basic methods
      even hitting the router


      any suggestions

      Try the factory reset button. Put a pen in the little hole in the back of the router and hold it there for about 10 seconds. If that doesn't fix it, hit it again (you'll feel better for it) and call sky. They'll make you re-set it a few times but hopefully they'll send you a new one.

      I have done that several times, i have ticked to enabled wireless connection on the settings page but no joy.

      I have rebooted hoping it will enable the wireless light on. it flashes once then just stays off

      Sounds like your router is dead. Call Sky (there's a free 0800 number somewhere on the forum) and after a bit of messing ad re-booting they should send you a new one.

      I have cable internet connection but no wireless connection took your advise sky are sending me a new router.
