      Wireless booster

Can anyone recommend a third party wifi booster for use with a Sky Q router.

The Q gives me good wifi range in most cases but I have one room leading into the garden which needs a little wifi signal boost!

      Re: Wireless booster

I would recommend a wifi homeplug adapter. Depending on your budget they range from about 50 to well over 100. For example

My son has one of these and he finds it excellent.

      Re: Wireless booster

@Isitme, many thanks once again for yet another reply, FYI my Sky Q hub is the latest model and seems to work like a charm. Wifi range in my house is good, I just need a boost into the conservatory as it's the farthest point for the signal to reach and the Q is just a bit weak over that distance due to floor/walls etc, my Q router is upstairs in our home office. I have not played with any of the settings, probably do not need to change anything to be honest.

Thank you for the Amazon link, I see that the range extender includes a powerline adaptor, I already have two of those in operation (Netgear), they are old hat now but work fine. I will look at the TP-Link wifi range extender as a stand alone product it should be easy to find on Amazon.

      Regards

There is also a large selection of Netgear adapters on Amazon, both homeplug and straight for ward booster type. You may find something suitable there. https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&...d-295132758656
