      Poor wireless range

Hello, I have just moved to a larger house and I'm struggling to connect to wifi in every room. I currently use a sagem G router. Due to an accounting problem sky have sent me a new sagem N router. Would you advise installing the N router or buy a range extender for the G router to solve the issue?

I would connect the n router, it is pretty good.

If still having issues, try changing the wireless channel from auto to manual and select different channels until you get the best coverage for your circumstances.

      Re: Poor wireless range

What you could do after this if it still fails is get your self some home plugs and a wireless access point. Have your wireless router one place and the access point in the opposite end of the house. Give both the same wireless name and password and your devices will "Roam" between both wifi networks.

If your really technical, You could plug in your new wireless N router, Get some home plugs, Go to your old router turn off the firewall, DHCP server and assign the router a static IP. Plug it in to a home plug and that will work the same.
