      Connecting two 2504n routers together...

I swear I have seen the answer to this question on the forum but searching has proved fruitless, so I apologise for asking again...

I have Sky Fibre and was sent a new Sagem 2504n with Fibre firmware. I also have another almost new 2504n that I was using on ADSL. Can I connect the two together wirelessly so the ADSL version works as an Access Point which I can plug some non-wireless kit (such as a Sky+ box) into and provide network/internet access?

I read that but got the impression you have to connect the routers via a cable/Powerline adaptors, when I want them to connect to each other wirelessly, or have I misread it?

      *Edit*

I can see further down that thread it says it can't be done and you need a hard wired connection, so please feel free to delete this thread!

      No problem with asking.

What I will mention is that previous members have found that the old 2504N does not always take the settings. It has been identified that you often need to have the Sagem 2504N connected to an Internet connection when you change it's settings.

To get around this now, you could try changing the firmware to the Fibre version (another member did this last week) or nip round to a friend or relative's house, connect up the Sagem 2504N, do all the changes, then bring it back in a working state.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
