Wireless adaptor for Sagem Router - switched from Netgear

The white Netgear router we were supplied with by Sky has finally gone phut and they have refused to replace it.
We have had it for about 5 years now so I guess it's only to be expected!

Fortunately when they supplied this they had earlier sent us a black Sagem router which didn't work then but appears to be ok with both the netbook and Ipad now.

Regrettably We've only got the old Netgear wirelss adaptors which don't appear to work for the desktop upstairs.

Can I get these to work? If not where would I lay my hands on a Sagem or compatible wirelss adaptor.

I would ask Sky but on this occasion they have been singularly unhelpful!

      Any help greatfully appreciated

Re: Wireless adaptor for Sagem Router - switched from Netgear

Your Netgear adapters should work with the Sagem. You will only get a maximum of 54mbps, but they should work. Try removing the software drivers and reinstall with the latest available from Netgear. Use the driver only, do not use the management software, use the Windows Wireless Manager.
