      Losing Wireless Connection constantly!!

I have been with Sky Wireless now for over a year, and all of a sudden the connection keeps dropping all the time and the @ symbol goes red then disappears and I have to reset it all the time, this is happening every 2 or 3 minutes its very frustrating I have tried changing channels and also used another filter box.
The router is the standard one you get given (think its sagem), Im not sure if it’s a coincidence but we had the House alarm wired to the bottom telephone socket, we live ina new build and the 2 telephone sockets downstairs where not active (the router is connected upstairs) however the guy activated downstairs and fed the alarm into one of the boxes, since then the problems have happened but cannot see how this can cause wireless to stop.
It seems that the router is connected but no internet access after 2 or 3 minutes can someone help please, I have tried nearly all that is suggested

It seems my detaisl say Virgin?? thats wrong I am with SKy TV/Phone and internet

its not your wireless is stopping its your router is losing connection because interference plug into test socket if you have 1 ,if not then will need alarm company to check if their connection has been filtered correctly post your stats

I will check when I get home, what will the alarm company have to doas I think I will have to contact them.
What he did was activate the 2 sockets downstairs as he said they were dead, we originally only had the one upstairs that was live that we had the interent plugged into, he said it was easy for him to activate them but Im not sure if this will be the problem but it seems like a bit of coincidence

should be very easy for company to check , question where is main telephone coming in , if upstairs then then alarm will have to connected to filter upstairs or separately filtered downstairs
mostly likely what's has happened that alarm has been not filtered or connected in a way that has bypassed filter

      Re: Losing Wireless Connection constantly!!

I think main box is upstairs as thats the only one that was live when we moved into the house (uits a new build) that is where interent connected to, our alarm box is downstairs, the alarm guy came and tested the 2 phoen sockets downstairs and they were dead he then went upstairs and activated themn (however he does that) he then connected the alarm downstairs to the phone socklet downstairs and since then the interenet connection keeps dropping all the time
