      sky+ anytime

      hi wonder if anyone can help me phoned sky about activating my platback/anytime tv was told to buy 2 plug in ethernet?connections witch i did but now found out wrong info given and need a box off sky which costs 60 quid i problem is i dont want wires goin from phone to socket to back of sky+ box as it is on oppisite side of room is there a cheaper version of box as i dont want to pay sky anymore money cheers burkey

      The idea of the home plugs is that you use the electricity to make the network connection.

      If you plug one in near the STB and then use a network cable to the STB from the plug, that is halfway there. Then plug the other plug near the router and then use a network cable from the plug to the router that should make the loop so to speak.

      Its probably too late but just noticed on the Sky website that they are selling the Wireless Connectors for 9.99 !!
