      Everything there looks OK.
You have put the routers WAN address(192.168.0.254) in the address box of the DMZ of the Sagem, ticked to enable it and clicked Apply?

Did you remeber to click Apply when you disabled the DHCP?

If it still does not work, try rebooting the Sagem router.

yes everything is fine. i clicked apply.
I even have reset both and went through the same configuration again.

I have reboot the sagem also. Still nothing

I just get access to the tp-link webpage. no internet.

Re: Using Sagem 2504 as modem & Asus RT-N56U as router

      Ok final question:
I have reseted them routers again.
I did everything the same except instead of using my mac adress on tp-link i used the one from the fabric and it worked
i have now internet from the tp-link with all the sitting from the guide except as i said from mac adress.

Does this means that the sagem is working now only as a modem and the TP-link as a router?

thanks for the help waiting for your reply

I am not sure what you mean by this, you should not have to use the MAC address for anything and what do you mean by 'fabric'?

Does this means that the sagem is working now only as a modem and the TP-link as a router?
Strictly speaking it is not, but as long as you are using its DMZ, to all intents and purposes it is. Using the DMZ you should not get 'double NAT' problems. Please make sure the firewall in the TP Link is properly configured, just being enabled is usually enough. Just make sure it is not disabled.

Re: Using Sagem 2504 as modem & Asus RT-N56U as router

this is the configuration at the moment: Using Sagem 2504 as modem & Asus RT-N56U as router-new1.jpg

and this is what i meant as the mac from fabric i just restore it instead of using the one that i replaced using the app Wireshark.Using Sagem 2504 as modem & Asus RT-N56U as router-fabric.jpg

The sagem DHCP is deactivated - DMZ activated - Wireless deactivated

Now im going to set up the wireless network.

I hope the configuration it's alright.

I am now even more confused! Where does it say anything in the instructions about Wireshark? I think this has been at the root of most of your problems. Maybe you were getting mixed up with instructions somewhere on connecting to a fibre modem.

Re: Using Sagem 2504 as modem & Asus RT-N56U as router

I have no idea why this should be necessary, the post it is linked to concerns connecting your own router to Sky using MER. You are not trying to do this. I'm sorry I did not notice this previously or I would have told you not to do it.

I don't know about the wireless on the TP Link, but it should be capable of 300mbps. Check the settings and make sure they are set to use the 20 and 40mhz bands.

Is there a 20+40mhz selection, that's all I can think of.

Try downloading and using Inssider, link below, that should show you what the actual transmission rate is.
