      Wireless Access Point Setup

      Hi guys,

I've just bought a Trendnet TEW-450APB wireless access point to increase my WIFI range. I cannot seem to follow the instructions, so that i can set it up with my SKY router and was hoping somebody here might be able to help me. Please let me know any additional information you might need.

      TRENDnet | Downloads | Wireless | TEW-450APB (Version B1.0R)

Above is a link to the user manuals.

      Thanks.

      Re: Wireless Access Point Setup

Looking at the Quick Installation Guide, the process looks easy enough. I would like to point out a couple of things for you:
      1. the Sky router's default IP Address is 192.168.0.1. It would be a good idea to set the Trend TEW-450APB to an IP Address of 192.168.0.200.
      2. you will need to configure the Trend TEW-450APB before connecting it to your Sky router
      3. when all is done, it will connect to the Sky router via either an Ethernet cable or a pair of HomePlugs.

Changing the IP Address is discussed in 3.3 on page 12 (14th page in the PDF file).
