    Sky Broadband Driver Issue

    This is a discussion on Sky Broadband Driver Issue within the Wireless / Adapters forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; Ok Thanks - that probably means I need to look at having the driver re-installed, is this straight forward?...

      Did you look at the back of the PC to see if there was an aerial attached to a PCI card? As already said, it would be very unusual to have wireless on a PC desktop unless it was specified when the PC was purchased. Maybe if you post the make and model of your PC more help can be given. Even a photo of the rear of the PC would help.

      Well, it's not as straight forward as letting us know if:

      a) whether you have an aerial attached to your PC
      b) you have a wireless dongle attached to a usb port
      c) you have tried connnecting the PC via the network cable



      To be honest, I think you need to ask a friend to pop around and give you a hand.

      In order to install any drivers you need to know the answer to at least 'a' and 'b' above. If you have neither and aren't prepared to try 'c' then you will have to buy a wireless adapter of one form or another
