want to set up anytime plus wirelessly

hi this is my first post looking for some help
I have just activated sky anytime plus but want to operate it wirelessly as my sky router is located on the other side of the room and i access the net via it wirelessly no problem.
I see sky want to sell me a wireless connector for 60 bit I am reluctant to do so as I give them enough money each month.
I have a spare wireless router a 2 wire 975 - my question is can I use this router as a bridge to connect to the hd box with my sky router connecting to the net in the normal way.
If so how can I configure it - grateful for some advice.

I'm after the same answer really. The easiest solution I see is that you get a Powerline adaptor like this Extra Value 200Mbps Powerline Adapter Twin Pack | Ebuyer.com

I'd prefer a wireless option myself like you and would be interested to see whether it's possible.

It's powered by plugging into the USB socket on your sky box

Re: want to set up anytime plus wirelessly

Is it powering up when you plug it in to the boxes USB port?
      Have you tried manual configuration?
It could be it is out of range of the router, try plugging into your laptop and see if it connects with the laptop very near the Sky HD box.

Unplug the adapter, go into the settings and return anything you have changed to default. Then plug it in and reboot the Sky HD box by putting it in to Standby for a minute then switching the power off. Wait a couple of minutes and switch back on. Go to the Network settings and see if you have anything.
