      Expresscard "N" adapter advice

Hi, Can anyone recommend an Expresscard N type wireless laptop adapter ?
There appears to be very little choice with Expresscard adapters.
The choices appear to be the D-Link DWA-643 or the Belkin cards, but I've heard people have had problems with both when running Windows 7.
Linksys had a dual band card ( WEC600N I think ) but for some reason it's no longer on sale.
      thanks
      Alex

I'd personally stick with a usb adapter, theres more choice and it'll work on more machines. I've had nothing but problems with the expresscard wireless adapters. Incidentally why do you need a wireless n card when you have a wireless g router?

The problem I've had with USB adapters is mainly range. Plus the location of the USB sockets on my laptop ( front right ) means it's constantly getting knocked around in use.
I've tried the Linksys WUSB600N (normal size ) and Edimax EW-7711UTn (mini size ) The connection on the former kept cutting out, connection on the latter just had poor range. Probably due to the tiny aerial(s) it contained.

I'm using my original Sky router, but with an N type wireless access point.
The plan is to setup an N wireless network to stream video around the home.
Would be nice to do this for the laptop for portability. ie use in garden.

You'll find you get much better performance by fitting an internal card in that case. Many sellers on eBay offer internal cards of numerous types for all different kinds of laptops.

      Re: Expresscard "N" adapter advice

Sorry, I forgot to mention, my Sony laptop doesn't have a slot for an internal wifi card. It appears the built-in A/B/G networking is part of an onboard chipset.
I've just found a supplier for a Trendnet Expresscard N adapter which apparently works well with my Trendnet Access point. Thanks for the replies though.
