      Range extender blocked? Please Help.

      Hi,

Could someone help me at all? I am having issues with keeping a connection in a wirless access point

My boss has asked me to extend the wirless range of his sky broadband in his house, he has the broadband setup in his study and want to have wireless access in his liviungroom which is the other end of the house and the router does not give a strong enough signal.

I have purchased a Edimax EW-7416APn Wireless-N Range Extender / Access Point from ebuyer.com which I have managed to connect to the Sky wireless network as AP and boost the signal to the rest of the houe I have moved the AP to the hall way and it was all working fine.

hoever the router keeps dropping the access point and stops it from getting connections, this has happened a couple of time now.

In Sky's T&C's it says that you are not allowed to change the router?

      Can anyone help me out?

The easiest and best way to do this would be with a pair of homeplugs, you can even get one with a built in wireless access point if it is needed for a laptop etc.
