    Better connection with Xbox

    This is a discussion on Better connection with Xbox within the Wireless / Adapters forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; I use the other plug downstairs with my desktop PC and my Xbox is upstairs. Unfortunately i don't know anyone ...

      I use the other plug downstairs with my desktop PC and my Xbox is upstairs.

      Unfortunately i don't know anyone else who has a homeplug, for some reason they seem to be a well kept secret, i didn't even know about them untill i came to this site.

      I might just take the gamble on the one you posted.

      Ok i ordered the homeplug, just had a quick question though.

      I have one plug in the router, another in my pc right now. When i connect this third one to my xbox, how does it know to connect to the one in my router and not the one connected to the pc?

      It does not really connect to anything in particular. When you plug it in it becomes part of the network, exactly the same as one of the ports on the router. Plugging into it is just the same as plugging into the router.

      Ok, that other homeplug from the ebay link you posted came today, connected it up, sky player working perfectly.
