      You can get a pair of Comtrend ones quite cheap on e-bay as they are given out with some of the BT packages and people sell them on.

      Remember you will need at least twom one for the router and one for the PC. You can then just keep adding them as needed. Alsom you can move them around if you ever resite your PC.

      As long as you have your own electric meter/fuse board then yes they will work fine.

      Even if you share a meter you can use them but everyone who uses the same meter could in effect use them to connect to your router too.

      Yeah, I do have my own electric meter. I'll see how much I can get these on ebay. Thanks for the recomendation anyway, I might just end up getting both nd see which one work best lol/

      Homeplugs, everytime

      In this situaltion anyway. If it was a laptop that you moved around then wireless will take the prize. (but you can get homeplugs that have wireless access points built in to extend the wireless rangem great for gardens etc)

      I have a sky wireless router however the signal upstairs is not great, any extenders anyone would recommend?

      Try changing the channel in the router. Change the mode to 'g only', start at channel 13 and work your way down through the channels until you find the best one.

      If you are using a Desktop you are far better using Homeplugs.
