      Wireless adapter

      I am fairly new to SKY broadband, ex AOL. and I have exactly the same setup as I had with them with Desktop in o small bedroon amdlaptop in the lounge and I had wireless with no problem. Now I am with SKY I just cannot get conected withthe desktop. The router is in the lounge which is approx. 30 feet from the office. The wireless adapter/CD are the same as I had beforeI have installed both but I cannot ge wireless, can anyone help please.

      Try changing the wireless channel bud, I think the default is one, so try another

      The top and bottom of it is that the Sagem is crap at wireless connection.
      You could use home plugs as a better alternative if you cant revert to a wired Ethernet which is better and secure. As I said home plugs are also worth a shout.

      God knows what the sky boffs were thinking when they specified there routers...54g and no range what so ever FFS.

      I have to agree the Sagem range is pretty poor, ive had to attatch my Belkin F5D8231-4 N1 router to the sagem as a wireless access point and disable the sagem wireless.

      I'd like to use the Belkin as the main router and do away with the Sagem but Skys T&Cs wont allow this
