      Extending wireless range to garage

      Hi
I have been using Sky wireless broadband for a couple of years now, without any problems. Most of the house gets a signal (although not all - old house with brick walls).
I want to extend my signal to my detached garage, where I am setting up a small office for me to work from home. The signal would need to extend by about 50 feet (inc. brick walls) to reach the area I need.
How whould I go about extending the range of my current router - repeater or imporoved aerial? I have a Sky Netgear router.

      Thanks

Either are possible but results are often poor. My advice would be to spend the money it would cost on a pair of Homeplugs. The downside is that you'll be so impressed with the performance that you'll want Homeplugs in the rest of the house.

Agree that Homeplugs would be the best remedy. You can buy a pair off ebay for under 40 HL100E HomePlug Ethernet Adaptor Pair * NEW* on eBay, also, Adaptors, Networking, Computing (end time 05-May-09 14:47:51 BST)
