Lets check your computers wireless card and your Sky router are on the same speed settings (ie 802.11 b or g). To do this enter the set up page for the router by typing:

192.168.0.1 (followed by the Enter key)'

This will take you to the set up page but you will get a pop-up asking you for a User_Name and Password. If your still on default it will be:

      admin and sky

This will allow you to select the Wireless Settings. Check that Mode is set to g & b so that it can operate at both settings. If it isn't change it and remember to SAVE the new settings. Now check your PC.

If you have made no headway, try resetting the router by pushing a biro into the hole at the rear. Hold it there until the lights on the front flash.
