Re: Not recognising admin and sky

Yeah when i clcik on the icon for my lan in taskbar its default page opens up on site survey, there it shows the other SSID number , there are also tabs for profile, link status, statistics, advanced and about, but nothing in connection to my SSID. Is there anyway i can delete the other one, or is there something i can do in my netgear page??

      cheers..........AGAIN !!

      OK

      1) Go into the router and make sure Enable Wireless Access Point and Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID) are ticked.

      2) Change Auto 108mbps to the b or g option

      3) Choose a different channel say 11 or so then save / apply (sorry not got that router connected)

See if the SSID of yours reappears.

Also see if this helps at all?

Re: Not recognising admin and sky

I have WPA-PSK (Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key) enabled on mine. If you have a read of the document on how to change the SSID there are a few tips on how to make it a little more secure.

Glad you got it sorted in the end!

I thought when you reset it first time, this is what you done.
This is how you reset the router. No point in resetting it when it's turned off.

      Good news its working now.
