      Wireless constant disconnecting

      Hello,
I have just made the swich from birgin to sky and installed my router earlery today. The computer connected by wires work fine however my laptop disconnects 3 -4 seconds after connecting, sometimes not conencting atall. I took off all security to see if this was the problem. Turned UPnP Off. And followed almost every part of "Sky broadband help, I cannot connect ot my router wirelessly, what should i do". All with no succes.
I also moved the router upstairs and turn off all electronics upstairs whilst i tested it upstairs, this had no effect. I cannot think of what to do next.
Please help !!!!!! Thanks - James

      Re: Wireless constant disconnecting

As Sam suggests try changing the channel on the router to maybe 13. It could be that someone in your neighborhood is knocking out out your connection using the same channel as you are.

Could be your Wireless card settings.

Have you tried connecting the laptop to another router?
Is the wireless light constantly lit?

Have you tested with a wired connection, may be a wireless fault.
