      WifI Help please

I have been running my Acer 1512 laptop since getting Sky BB with the Ethernet cable. My laptop does have wifi and I have used it with my previous ISP.

I now want to use Sky wifi but have not idea where to start. I can see that in the wireless network connection there is an option for Sky which says Security-enabled wireless network (WAP) This network requires a network key. If you want to connect to this network, click connect, but not sure it can be that easy. I am running XP

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Click on the entry that matches the SKY***** number on your card, it will ask for your network key, this is on the card too and consists of a string of letters. Enter it in capitals, no numbers.

Yep you can go back to ethernet anytime you like just by plugging in the cable to the pc and router. You don't need to do anything about the channel unless it plays up. If all goes well entering the key is all you need to get right.

      Thank you, thank you.

I cannot believe it was so easy. A small thing you might think but it will change my life.
