      Re: recommended!..

Sky used to sell a Netgear one, about the 20 mark. Give them a ring.

That way if you have any issues, Sky would support it over the phone.

Here's a goodish one in the meantime. (not sure what the Sky model is)

      Netgear WG111T Wireless Network Adapter 108mbps 802.11g - Ebuyer

A good tip for ebuyer, order it with the free delivery, (if available) and it normally comes the next day anyway. (provided you order it early in the day)

      Re: recommended!..

      Try this one?

Netgear WG111GE 54Mbps USB at PC World - Buy cheap Wireless Network Cards - Netgear WG111GE 54Mbps USB USB wireless adaptor

Order it online, with collect at store, that way you would only pay 13.99

Normally takes about an hour after ordering before you can collect it.

      Re: recommended!..

54Mbps is pretty fast. Unless you have a 108Mbps router, you wouldn't notice the speed difference. The broadband connection is only upto 16mb.

The only advantage you would have with the 108 speed is file transfer from one PC to the other, and that's if the router supports it.

      Re: recommended!..

It's your call, I think the 24.99 one should be fine. If you can afford to get a dearer one, do it. (as the Sky 1 new advert says)
