It is difficult to help if you will not even try the suggestions. You may think it is correct but it may not be. What error message do you get or what happens when you try to connect? You are using WPA to try to connect?

Right iam on the internet on my computer thanks to a Belkin Wireless G USB Adaptor that i was given so thanks for all the help and i will now take the crap pci card out

I have properly found the problem i nhad my computer in my room and the wall separating me from the router theres something in the wall blocking he signal!

Since then i have put my computer downstairs and the pci card wrks so iam happy thanks
