    is this dlm?

    This is a discussion on is this dlm? within the Wireless / Adapters forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; i have noticed sky have increased my speed,but we keep losing connection with the router and the signal is low ...

      is this dlm?

      i have noticed sky have increased my speed,but we keep losing connection with the router and the signal is low even if i am sitting next to it,like this moring it was on full signal ,and now its showing 2 bars? is this something to do with dlm too?? it did not do this before a few days ago.

      sounds more like a wireless issue ?

      but i have not changed anything or got anything new.
      i am sitting next to the router ,but i only hve 2 signal bars how can iincrease it?

      I have moved this thread to the wireless section and closed your other thread.


      The problem could be new electrical items in the house interfering or new people near you on the same channel, keep the router away from any electrical wires and try changing the channel on the router

      It could be as Rich says someone in your area has gone wireless and is now on the same channel as you. Try going into 192.168.0.1, click on setup to get into the page with the wireless settings and drop the router into channel 11 ish. See if that helps stabilise it.
