      Re: No wireless - help

      Hi,

      I've had exactly the same issue as the OP, have changed my channel number and can now see my network. But I'm stuck on the acquiring network address now ...

      Any ideas on which of the 2 next suggestions has cured the OP's problem? uPnP or key issue? The key hasn't changed and i'm sure I entered it correctly when it asked for it again.

      Cheers,

      Martin

      An update, it now says connected and I have an ip address of 192.168.1.77, but the router "attached devices" page only shows the wired PC in it's list.

      @John Robinson
      My SSID number was SKY17871,it has now changed to SKY17879
      Are you sure you are not logged into someone else's router? This number can be changed, you can(and should) change it, but you have to do it manually. It will not change on it's own. The default SSid is printed on the label on the router, check this against the number shown on your router's wireless settings.

      Sorry, I should have made it clear that was aimed at another poster, post edited.

      I meant to add did you give it a manual address, if not it is a strange one.
