      Better connection for different parts of my home

      My netgear box is situated in a bedroom upstairs as that is the only place i can get a connection. However as a result i cannot get a connection from certain parts of the house downstairs. (I have a laptop and connet wirelessly) I was wondering if anyone could help me?

      have you tried to change the wireless channel on your router?

      Try moving the Sky Router a few feet in all directions. As suggested above, change the WiFi channel. Try 1 then 6 then 10 and see the difference. If that helps try the channels in between and settle on the one that gives the best result. Make sure your not next to a DECT phone.

      If none of that helps then you may need extra hardware.
