      IP number 0.0.0.0.

      Hi, I need a help. I just set up the sky on my laptop, and I have a conection, sygnal is exelent, but cannot open any website, and the IP nr is 0000. I dont know what is the modem (my flatmate has a sky, a am a second user). Does anyone know how to helm me please? I am not fluent on IT problems!!!

      It means you are not connected to the router, if you were connected properly you would be getting a 192.168.0.x IP address. You may want to check you have put the correct network key in and that you are indeed actually connected to the wireless device properly.
      Until you get a 192.168 IP address you won't be able to browse etc as you are not getting any form of data response from the router.

      Thanks, but I dont know how to do it. I have just found the right network (sky of my housmate), put network key, and got a connection (I see the sygnal is excellent), but there is no right IP adress. Do you know how can I fix it?

      shutdown and re-boot and try connecting again without any other pc or laptop connected to router, remeber ssid and passwords are case sensetive and if its still the original sky provided keycode then its UPPERCASE or CAPITAL letters and no numbers so "o" is the letter "o" not the number zero

      Thanks Nodrog, it was women's issue! Ofcourse, when I put this password with caps look it started to work!!! So thanks a lot! You know woman's soul, and know what kind of mistke she can makes!
