      Re: Wireless query

First make sure you are within reliable range between router and adapter. Assuming your Belkin is a current model an supports WPA, Apply the WPA passphrase supplied by Sky to the USB adapter's WPA interface and away you go.

Failing that connect to the router using the ethernet cable Sky supply and turn off wireless security until you get a reliable connection and then try reapplying WPA.

      Re: Wireless query

i had trouble connecting to my sky sagem router with my sons pc, although i could get internet fine with Lan to my PC and to laptop.
problem pc was using a sitecom turbo wireless adapter. this got stuck on aquiring IP address. opened the wireless adpter config utility and checked all setting in its profile (edit option). found on 4th page ip settings disabled, enabled this and ok'd the change. after this no probs.

Make sure you have your WPA passphrase correct, to quote James:

Yep acquiring IP loop normally means key not in capital letters or typed in wrong
